A Community Built on Craft, Consent, and Darkness
Haunted 365 is the year-round professional network for the haunted attraction industry — performers, creators, owners, vendors, and everyone who lives for the scare. This community exists because the haunt industry deserves a platform that understands it.
These guidelines exist to keep this space safe, respectful, and focused on the craft. Every member — from casual fans to industry leaders — is expected to uphold them.
Scare Safely
There is a difference between a performer who loves darkness and a person who wants to cause harm. The haunt industry has always known this difference. It is one of the things that makes this community worth protecting.
Haunt entertainment is a performance art. The performer's goal is to create the feeling of fear inside a context of complete safety. The visitor chose to be there. That choice — the informed, willing choice — is the foundation of everything we do.
Darkness is not the problem. Darkness handled with craft, consent, and care is what we celebrate. What we do not allow is darkness used as cover for abuse. People who want to actually harm others — performers, visitors, or members of this community — are not welcome here. Not because we don't understand darkness. Because we understand it better than most, and we know the difference.

This Place was Built for You
The haunted attraction industry has a quiet truth that doesn't get talked about enough: a lot of us came here by chance and found healing amongst the screams.
People who have lived through real fear — and found that the controlled, consensual version of it gives something back. People who needed a place where their love of the strange and the dark wasn't something to explain or apologize for. People who found community in the graveyard when they couldn't find it anywhere else.
Haunted 365 exists to expand that experience. This is a space for everyone who belongs to this world — from the first-season actor still finding their character to the thirty-year veteran who has scared thousands of people and would do it again tomorrow.

Respect the Craft
Haunt entertainment is a performance art built on skill, creativity, and dedication. Treat it — and the people who give their time to it — accordingly. Dismissing someone's work, punching down at newcomers, or using this space to tear down what others have built is not what we're here for.
Everyone Belongs
From the first-season actor still finding their character to the thirty-year veteran who has scared thousands of people. From solo operators to multi-attraction productions. From fans to performers to vendors to owners.
This means actively. It means that if you see someone being pushed out or targeted, you say something. Belonging isn't passive — it requires the people who already feel at home here to protect the door for the ones still finding their way in.
Standards Matter
This community holds itself to a higher standard than most — in safety, in how we treat our workers, in how we represent our industry publicly. That standard applies here too.
We don't look away from bad behavior because it's uncomfortable to address. We don't protect reputations at the expense of people. We don't let patterns go unreported because no single incident felt serious enough. The standard is: if you see something wrong, you say something.
Halloween Never Ends
We celebrate the full spectrum — from family-friendly haunts to the deeply terrifying. Gore, darkness, fear, death — these are our medium and we don't apologize for them.
Which is exactly why we draw the line clearly: darkness as craft is what we're here for. Darkness used to normalize real harm, romanticize real abuse, or target real people is not the same thing. We know the difference. We have always known the difference. That distinction is what makes this industry worth protecting.
Content Guidelines
Allowed
- Content that is not protected by copyright or trademark.
- Promotions for haunt industry products or services.
- Memories, pictures, links, and stories about haunted attractions, conventions, and events.
- Behind-the-scenes content from your attraction or build
- Original creative work — character concepts, costume builds, prop making, set design
- Industry discussion, opinions, and professional debate
Not Allowed
- General advertisements not related to the haunt industry.
- Spamming or unsolicited commercial contact.
- Sexualized or exploitative content involving minors, in any form.
- Harassment, brigading, coordinated targeting, or group intimidation.
- Content that celebrates or encourages actual harm to visitors, performers, or any real person.
- Impersonating another member, business, or public figure.
- Misinformation presented as fact, especially about other community members or businesses.
- Content that sexualizes non-consenting adults.
Respect
Treat others with kindness, even in debate. This is a diverse community — differences in opinion, identity, background, and experience are what make it worth being in. Harassment, hate speech, and bullying are not debate. They are attempts to make someone feel unwelcome in a space that was built for them, and they will be treated accordingly.
Protect Each Other's Safety and Privacy
Do not share private information, impersonate others, or use the platform to harm or deceive. This includes sharing someone's real name, location, workplace, or personal details without their consent — whether or not your intent is to cause harm. Doxxing, stalking, or targeted harassment will result in immediate removal. No warnings.
Keep It Honest and Legal
Do not spread misinformation about other members, businesses, or events. Do not promote illegal activities, distribute malicious software, or share copyrighted material without permission. This community talks — false claims travel fast and cause real damage.
Content used to mislead, defame, or deceive will be removed. Illegal activity will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
Share, Don't Spam
Promotion is welcome when it adds value — not when it drowns out conversation. If you're a vendor, share your work. If you're a haunt, share your season. If you're a performer, share your craft. The feed is for the community, not a billboard.
Repetitive posting, unsolicited sales contact, and off-topic links will be tracked and can result in removal. Ambassadors and moderators have discretion to flag promotional content that crosses the line. The goal is connection — if your post is only about driving traffic somewhere else, it probably doesn't belong here.
If you believe a moderation decision was made in error, you may contact support — but the safety of the community takes precedence.
Identity Badges
Identity badges verify vendors, news sources, sponsors, and moderators within the haunt industry. Users with badges are held to a higher standard of conduct and are expected to contribute to the professionalism of the industry.
Badges are granted through a review process. They are not purchased, traded, or assigned as favors.Ambassadors are specifically trusted to help moderate this space — to notice when something is wrong, to support members who need help, and to escalate when a situation requires it. The badge is a responsibility, not a credential.

- Ambassadors: Moderators and industry professionals who help guide the community.
- Vendors: Promotions, marketing, and business opportunities within the haunt industry.
- News Sources: Verified news outlets and industry publications.
- Sponsors: Official sponsors and partners of the haunt industry.
Not Allowed
- Spamming.
- Damaging the brand of others through false claims or misleading information.
- Altering content or identity badges to misrepresent yourself or others.
- Allowing others to use your account to gain additional access or privileges.
The badge is a symbol of trust. It can be removed at any time if the holder violates these guidelines — and badge holders who participate in harassment or misuse their visibility will be removed faster, not slower.

Haunted 365 is built by haunters, for haunters. It is managed by Dreadful Damsels, and we are not neutral about what kind of space this is.
We built this platform because this industry deserved one. And because we have seen, up close, what it means for people to find this community — what it gives them, how it holds them, and what it costs when a space like this is allowed to become unsafe.
We will not allow this platform to be used to harm the people it was built to protect. Reports are taken seriously. Patterns of behavior are tracked. Bad actors are removed. That is not a threat — it is a promise, and it is the only way a community like this one stays worth being in.
